Euro Trip - Summer 2016

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

Alhamdulillah. All praise to Allah that allowed me to finished my sophomore year at Penn State. I have another 2 years to go. Ganbatte dear self. Last two semesters was really like a hell for me as i need to take Physics which is the hardest subject so far. I made a decision to take a break from that subject next sem. I hope i can focus on my major subject during Fall 16 sem.

I'm currently on summer break for 3 freakin months. what could be better than that huh. Just like last year, i'll be spending my whole summer break here at Malaysia tanah tumpah darahku. Lol. But a lil bit different cause i just had Euro trip with the other 3 Pikachu Gals. Don't ask me who are them. You might knew them if you're my follower on instagram. Haha. It was actually a last minute plan for me because i have no intention to go to Europe this year since i just started working during my third semester and i was worried if i had not enough money. At the first place, only Wani, Farah and Emy yang plan the trip. But I changed my mind after they persuade me that we will still have enough money to pay for our house rent and phone bill as long as we do not exceed some amount of limit.

It was quite huru-hara since everyone were so busy and did not have time to discuss for this travel thingy. As far as I remember, we planned the trip like about 3 weeks prior to the trip. Hence, there are a lot of places that we had to skip and we also had no chance to meet our friends in UK, just some of them because we tumpang tidur at their house.

Our flight from JFK, New York was on Sunday, May 5th 2016. We paid for shuttle service by Abg Khalil to send us to the airport. It took about 6 hours from JFK to Turkey and about 9 hours of transit before our next flight to London, UK. After a loooong flight, we finally arrived at Heathrow International Airport. It was actually my second time to LHR. My first time was 2 years ago, but it just a transit. Back to the story, Alif and Zurai which are Emy and Farah's classmates back in Intec greet us at the arrival hall. Thank God they were there to help us with our luggagessss. Hahaha. We took bus to Farahniza's house at Uxbrigde. They are Brunel University students btw. Thank you Farah for your hospitality!

To make it short, we started from London - Dublin, Ireland - Scotland - Manchester, UK - Paris - London with the total of 12 days if I'm not mistaken. I can call this trip a budget trip since we just stayed at our friends' house except at Paris. We had to stay at hotel since we know no one here. First, Dublin. It was not that bad i guess. We went to Glendalough Mountain and just jalan-jalan around Dublin City. The best part was we met a Malaysian at a restaurant. It happened when we were looking for a place to eat since we havent eat since morning. Suddenly, someone approached us and claimed that he is Malaysian and work at the restaurant. After finished eating, the cashier told us someone paid the bill for us. Yayy. Jimat duit den. :p

Then we took flight to Scotland. We stayed at Emy's cousin at Sterling. Her house is super nice and the neighbourhood also really conducive. I really love it! Some places that we visited are Edinburgh Castle, Falkirk Wheel and another castle which i forgot the name of it.

Next destination - Manchester! This city is the best! There are a bunch of halal restaurant here and the price is ok laa not that pricey. You can see a lot of Malaysian and also Pak Arab which sometimes makes me wonder am I in the UK or what? Lol. We also visited Manchester United Stadium and Liverpool Stadium. Idk why but we were really unfortunate because during our visit the game got cancelled because there was a bomb threat. We couldn't took a proper picture since ppl was rushing to leave the stadium.

Next is Paghiisss. Hahaha. I was really really excited to go to Paris. Hehehe. Took flight from Manchester Airport to Paris. The airport there is quite scary as there were a few soldier lingering around the airport with their M-16. A lot things happened when we were in Paris. We couldnt find our hotel because we dont have internet access. Thank God, there was a girl helped us. She even walk us till the hotel. After checked in, all of us were hungry af and tried to order some food. unfortunately, we couldnt get one since it is really late and almost all restaurants were already closed. We were sleeping hungry that day. Next day, we went around Paris city - Eifel Tower, Musee de Lourve, Notre Dame and others which i cant remember. lol

Last destination is London. The best thing about London is shopping! Especially, Primark because the price is really cheap. Rambang mata kauu. Other than that, we also visited Beg Ben, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and more.

This is so far the most tiring trip ever. Dengan jetlag nye lagi. Hence, we made a hashtag #tripjetlag for this trip on instagram. Apa pun, all praise to Allah because gave this opportunity to visit Europe. I'll make I will come back again with a lot of money so that i can shopping more. Haha

Busy me is busy.

Holla yuolls.

It has been a long time since a wrote a post. So yeah here we go. I hope i can finish my post because i dont want to keep it in draft which means that it will never get posted. lol. So, today is Saturday which is my working day. Yayy to me because finally i can get out of my comfort zone. Hehe. I'm working for three days a week (Monday, Friday and Saturday) with a total of 13.9 hours. I already worked for about 3 weeks if im not mistaken and got my first salary last Friday. So excited u know. Hahaha.

Oh ya i forgot to tell u i'm working at West Dining Hall which located in the campus. I find working is not that bad. With bad i mean like tired, boring or what so ever related to it. I admit that i was sooooo tired on my first day of working but it gets better because i manage to adapt with the environment/messiness/hectic-ness especially at West Wing. West Wing is a place where you can place your order such as panini, cheese steak, sub etc on computer and we make it based on your preferences (types of meat, sauce, topping etc). I usually got to handle Hot area where there are fries, mozzarella stick, grilled chiken, chicken tender etc. It was fun actually because you can see like a lot of different people with different personalities.

Enough with my working life. Lets talk about my studies. I'm taking 19 credits hour this semester - Orgo Chem, Orgo lab, Inorganic, Physics, Arabic and Theater. Im struggling to finish this semester. Only God knows how hard it is and i can only pray to God to ease me throughout this semester. Living far from families is quite challenging. Usually, when i was at Intec and 5 years of boarding school, i will always went back to home at least once in a fortnight. A month is a maximum. Haha. What a clingy daughter i am. :p I miss everyone at Malaysia. Oh gosh can i just skip all classes and exams and fly to malaysia already? I wish.....

Last but not least, last winter me and my friends went to California-Nevada-Colorado. It was a great experience and im broke as hell. lol. Alhamdulillah for this opportunity. There are a lot of thing that i learnt throughout this journey. Firstly, patience. When you are on road, a lot of thing can happen especially when you travel with all girls which you know banyak emosi. Hahaha. So what ever happen just keep calm and embrace it. Secondly, i think to commit with prayers and all. Living in a non-islamic country is not easy. There is no mosque or surau available at gas station at Malaysia. We had to solat at tepi-tepi gas station, parking lot etc. And the hardest part is when you need to hold the wudu' till prayer time because you are too lazy to perform wudu' at the toilet sink. Lol.
Allah said "Say, [O Muhammad], Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah , over all things, is competent." [29:20]

Assalamualaikum! it has been awhile since last i post something on my blog. last post was november last year. almost a year lah jugak tak update. Banyak sangat benda yang berlaku throughout that time. Exam A-Level 2 bulan then cuti, raya, result keluar, pre-depart, fly. and now i am at states. I can say that it was a miracle that I am here. Alhamdulillah syukur. I have been through up and down during these time. Banyak sangat dugaan yang datang tapi alhamdulillah Allah beri kekuatan dekat me myself and others. Lagi-lagi time result keluar haritu. Ya Allah memang dah taknak ingat lagi dah. Orang lain tengok kita semua macam happy gila and dapat all the things that we want. But it is not that easy. Banyak kali jugak lah menangis. Dulu, sampai dah fed up taknak buat apa-apa. Down dia Allah jelah yang tahu. Thanks to all friend and family yang selalu support sampai lah dimana aku ade sekarang. Orang cakap mmg susah nak cari kawan yang ada time susah and senang. Tapi I am really glad that Allah grants me a bunch of idiots people yang sentiasa ade thru thick and thin. Haha.

 Tetiba rasa macam nak dedicate this whole post to my ex-housemates dekat Intec. Eza, Emy and Qila thanks for being my housemates. Ya Allah sangat bersyukur sebab serumah dgn mereka-mereka ni. Each of them has their own personality yg can differentiate them with other people. Eza, yang penuh dengan kasih sayang yang kadang-kadang buat aku rimas as in awkward (?) sebab aku ni bukan yang jenis express sgt. lol . Kesian kau eza tapi thanks la sebab bersabar gila layan aku. Lepas tu selalu bawak naik motor beli KFC. Hahaha. Paling jaga waktu solat. Rajin ingatkan kiteorg semua yang macam sakai gila ni. haha. Now, she is at Essex Uni, UK. The only one yang pergi UK dalam rumah tu. I hope u can 'masuk' dengan haousemate kau sekarang ni sebab dah ade pengalaman nak layan kiteorg tiga orang yanga sakai ni. hahaha 

Next is Emy. My fangirling-mate. Minat BigBang sebab dulu aku selalu buka lagu Blue. Awal-awal dulu macam 'eh aku yg minat dulu. Kau jgn nak lebih-lebih pulak!' Haha. Sebab dia ni expert gila pasal gossip semua. Yang mengajar aku baca Beautifulnara. Paling banyak merosakkan aku. Hahaha. Tapi best gila kalau heart-to-heart talk dgn dia ni walaupun jarang gila kot. Aku selalu jadi mangsa bebelan minah ni sebab aku sorang je yg rajin nak melayan dia. Bukan apa, sebab aku ni jenis yang memang akan dengar org bercerita. Tak sampai hati nak ignore je. Tapi aku selalu di'ignore'kan. Sedih kot! lol. Now we are here at Penn State and struggling to be here for the next four years. Please pray for us. 

My third housemate, Qila. Budak kecik from nogori. Dia suka lagu nasyid and sumber lagu unic aku. lol. Tak suka layan orang. Kadang-kadang tu panas lah jugak aku tapi buat bodoh je la kan sebab dah nature dia macam tu. Nak buat macam mana. Haha. Best random talk dengan budak ni sebab dia pun jenis yang random gila pastu pakai redah je. Budak yg BACA buku Statistics time nak exam. Hahaha. Now she's at Washington, Seattle. Lagi satu budak ni suka gila pergi Daiso kat mid valley lah selalunya. Aku rindu nak main dengan Mr.Scotland kau. Selalu kalau aku dah fed up nak study, nanti aku masuk bilik dia then cakap-cakap dengan bear dia. Hahaha serupa orang gila. Ahhh im really miss those moments. T.T

Alright. I should stop here. Actually memang banyak benda nak cerita tapi tak rajin nak menaip lagi. wuwuwu. Btw weekend haritu pergi canning. Dia macam kutip derma untuk paediatric cancer. OMG best gila okay. That was the best memory since duduk sini. Hehehe. First time keluar dari area State College ni sebab tu macam excited. Okay wanna hit the sack jap lagi. Good night!

Third sem was over!

Assalamualaikum :)

Setelah sekian lama tak update blog, maka harini aku ambil inisiatif untuk post. Actually, baru lepas stalk blog dak Wana. Kenapa ntah tetiba rase macam rindu nak type. 

Firstly, nak cakap yg rindu gila kat classmates IK Clan, budak dorm J16, and memory kat hostel. Agagaga.

Seronoknya lahai waktu sekolah dulu. Dulu aku rajin lah jugak nak belajar. Sekarang ni dah jadik pemalas nak mampus. Menyampah dgn diri sendiri. 

Aku tengah cuti sem sekarang ni. Awal bulan Jan nanti dah masuk sem baru (final sem). And dalam bulan March ada trial edexcel. External exam maybe dalam bulan May kot. Tak tgk lagi academic calendar untuk next sem. Ya Allah cuak sangat okay. Aku tak pernah nak lepas pointer. Bagi aku susah lah jugak. Mungkin senang bagi bdk2 yg rajin dan pandai. Hmmm.

Cuti sem ni tak boleh nak enjoy sangat kot sebab banyak kerja nak kena buat. Dgn personal statement nyaaa. Essay uni nyaaa. SAT nyaaa. Alhamdulillah IELTS dah lepas. 

Kadang-kadang org mesti cakap bestnya nak fly dah. Tp it is not as easy as people thought. 

Kadang-kadang pernah jugak terfikir kenapa aku kat sini.

Kadang-kadang rasa menyesal sebab keluar UIA.

Kadang-kadang ada rasa nak give up.

Tapi. 

Perancangan Allah itu maha luas. Sampai kita pun tak boleh nak expect what will happen next. 

Bila rasa sedih. Rasa nak give up. Rasa tak mampu. Rasa penat sangaaaat.

Apa yang terbayang kat mata ni parents aku je. Takka nak hampakan dieorang kan. Kita yg bagi harapan dekat parents tapi sanggup ke nak hancurkan harapan yg kita bagi tu?

Sem 3. 

Sem yang paling tough. Sem yg paling banyak buat air mata ni meleleh. Time SPM pun tak mcm tu. Tapi tu semua dah lepas. Sekarang kena focus untuk external exam. Allah tak pandang result, tapi Allah pandang usaha kita. Suka quote tu. Result cemerlang ke tak cemerlang ke Allah yg bagi. Yakin dgn Allah. Jaga hubungan dgn Allah. Jaga hubungan dgn manusia. Semoga result sem 3 ni ada peningkatan. Amin.

Lastly, doakan kami semua dapat buat yg terbaik dan dapat result yg gempak untuk external exam next sem. Amin.

The day with IK Clan

Assalamualaikum. Annyeohasaeyyo. Moshi moshi. :)

Hai! Beberapa hari yg lepas 15.5.2013, aku dan IK clan pergi sekolah untuk ambil sijil SPM dan 1119 (english). Kenapa pergi the day before hari guru? Kenapa tak join je budak-budak yg nak pergi time hari guru? Sebab time hari guru nanti sure crowded gila sekolah/dewan As-Sharifah tu. Ermm sbb tu lah kot we decided untuk pergi hari Rabu. 

Pukul 9.30 camtu aku gerak pergi rumah Syera Karim. Fetch her and then straight to our beloved school. Around 10.30 sampai sekolah. Call Nani, dia kata dieorg semua tgh tunggu dak Wana yg kata pergi Alor Gajah hantar her aunt. Wana telah menjadi seorang wanita yg sangat busy semenjak dua menjak ni.lol. Then, sementara tunggu mereka yg berada di MC tu, aku dan Syera merayap sebentar dekat area blok Fairus. Sekarang blok tu dah kosong tiada penghuni. Hmmm patut robohkan je bangunan tu. Dah tua sangat. Dah la ada sejarah bumbung terbang time Form 2 dulu. Haha. Lawak bila dgr cerita budak-budak aras 3. Bayangkan, bangun2 tidur je tetiba nampak langit. lol. Lepas tu lepak dekat pondok depan blok F tu. 

Anis, called. She said they were at Dewan. Maka, kami pun bergegas ke sana. Nampak kereta proton wira. Ada Anis(driver), Diba dan Aten. Lepas tu Wana pulak sampai bersama Alza-nya. Ada Nani, Aimi, Nisa dan Man. Muka masing-masing excited! Huuuuuuuu seronok jumpa korang! 

Pergi pejabat. Naik bilik guru. Bilik panitia. Bilik kebitaraan. Bilik kaunselling. Lab form 1, jumpa Teacher Has. Bilik koku. Bilik guru sains. Ambil gambar. Balik.

Eh tak balik rumah pun actually. Kitaorg pergi Jusco baru. Nak lunch. Before pergi Pizza Hut, aku, Nisa and Syera terjumpa cikgu yam. Cikgu Yam dulu cikgu BM kiteorg, sangat penyayang. heee :) Sekarang ni dia dah pindah dekat Henry Gurney. Dia cakap lagi best best mengajar dekat situ. Ok fine.lol. Then pergi popular sekejap sebab nak jumpa kakak popular. Haha. Dak Khairin kerja dekat situ sekarang ni. Sebulan je katanya. Then lunch! Lapar baq hang :3

Lepas makan, solat, Shopping sekejap. Then balik lah rumah.

Syahidatul Haq Programme

Assamualaikum semua. Post ini di tulis menggunakan laptop baru. Hihi :) So, mcm excited sikit. Maaf

Act petang tadi baru balik dari Program Syahadatul Haq di Kuang, Selangor. Perjalanan dr Intec sampai sane adelah dalam sejam. First dapat tahu prog ni sebab akak naqibah aku yg bg tau. Nama akak naqibah saye Kak Mina. Dia sangat comel, kelakar, pandai, bakal doctor youu and at the same time dia bnyk sangat ilmu agama. Walaupun dia bukan dari sekolah agama mcm aku, tapi dia ade effort untuk carik bende2 mcm tu. Tak mcm aku *sigh* 

Housemates, Qila n Eza except Emy semua join. Emy balik sebab next week abg die dah nak pergi Sarawak, kerja. Lain-lain budak engineering. Farah XP, Farahniza, Fadilah, Ireena. Usrah-mates aku, Hanis and Ena. Classmates, Akhsya and Azaliah. Seronok sebab ramai kawan. nanti takdelah rase forever alone sangat. Haha

Otw ke sana, kiteorg diberi task oleh kakak2 naqibah utk baca surah Al-Kahfi memandangkan hari tu hari Jumaat kan. Maka, masing2 pun bukalah AQ. Walaupun ade yg tak sempat habis baca (maklumlah dlm bas kan pening kalau membaca) tapi mereka ade jugak effort dan Allah akan pandang usaha kita tu InsyaAllah. Arrived there  at 4pm. Letak barang2 dalam bilik, then solat asar berjemaah. Lepas solat kiteorg bace Al-mat'thurat. Hmmm sejak keluar dr alam persekolahan ni mmg dah jarang sangat lah bace Al-ma'thurat :(

Tibalah aktiviti yg paling best. Game in swimming pool. Yeah tempat yg kiteorg pergi tu ade swimming pool. Besar pulak tu. Mmg cool gila. Hehe. Masing2 tunjuk muke excited, yelah jarang sangat nak main2 air ni. Mane boleh lepaskan peluang ni kan. Main game tiup kapal kertas sampai ke penghujung swimming pool yg deep gila. Aku org second last, pehh dah la tak pandai berenang. Lepas game tu, aktiviti bebas. Ape lagi, aku ni yg tak pandai langsung berenang bersungguh-sungguh belajar basic swimming from Dila. Akhirnya aku boleh terapungkan badan. tapi still tak reti berenang. Sobsss. Penat owh swimming. Thaks to Dila sebab sudi ajar aku yg noob ni. Dila keluar dr dwimming pool tu time dah nak Maghrib kot. Gila lah. Tak penat ke..Jelessss

Malam tu lepas solat magrib dan isyak, kiteorg tgk video pengenalan kpd Syahadatul Haq. Dan baru tahu yg non-muslim boleh menuntut dekat kita pada hari akhirat kelak knp kita tak kenalkan Islam kat mereka. Dulu fikir, kene mantapkan diri dulu n org2 sekeliling for eg families and kawan-kawan rapat kita je. hmmm. Mlm tu mcm intro je, so takde pengisian.

Pagi bangun solat Subuh berjemaah jugak. Lepas tu bace al'ma'thurat pagi. Tapi untuk mengelakkan kita dari mengantuk dan tersengguk-sengguk, akak tu ade buat cara baru - bace sambil berdiri dan setiap kali nak bace the next ayat, kite kene bergerak ke kanan selangkah. Interesting dan mmg lah mengantuk tapi takdelah sampai tersengguk sebab tgh berdiri. Haha. Pukul 8 breakfast nasi goreng. Mcm biase makan dalam talam. Sweet kan. hihi. Then, dhuha.

Maka tibalah at the main point of this program. Pengisian terhadap Syahadatul Haq - Penyaksian ke atas suatu kebenaran. Disampaikan oleh Kak Mira. Grad from Aussie :) Time tu barulah tahu yg kita ni wajib menyampaikan syahadah iaitu penyaksian kita bahawa tiada Tuhan selain Allah dan Muhammad itu pesuruh Allah kepada bukan sahaja org Islam bahkan org yg NOT YET muslim. Berbeza org yg not yet muslim dgn org kafir ni. Definisi org kafir - org yg berpaling kpd kebenaran. Dieorg dah tahu kewujudan Islam. Dah tahu tentang hikmah2 yg ada dlm Islam. Tapi dieorg deny semua tu. Kalau org yg not yet muslim ni pulak, die tak tahu. Means that, mungkin dia tau yg org Islam ni berpuasa bulan Ramadhan, solat lima waktu. Tapi dia hanya sekadar tahu perkara tu. Dia tak tahu kenapa kite buat semua tu. Takde org yg cuba sampaikan Islam yg sebenar kpd mereka. 

Time tu barulah mcm terbukak sikit minda ni. Dakwah itu wajib. Kalau bukan kita, siapa lagi yg bimbing kawan2 atau family yg perlukan bimbingan kita. Kite ni tak boleh nak salahkan dieorg 100 percent sbb mungkin mereka kurang ilmu agama. Allah dah pilih org2 yg datang program Syahadatul haq tu untuk sampai kan dekat dieorg ni. Kita kalau nak berjaya, kena lah berjaya secara berjemaah. Jgn jadi selfish. Jumlah manusia kat dunia ni lebih kurang 7.1 billion and amount of muslims is around 1.8 billion only. And among that 1.8 billion berapa ramai yg betul2 on the right path?

Bile dapat tahu hakikat tu rase macam sangat berat beban yg terpikul di bahu ni. Even dah sekolah agama for 5 years pun aku masih lagi terkapai-kapai. yes i admit that. Aku ni pun masih dalam proses mengenali Islam walaupun mase spm dulu PSI, PQS, BAT dapat A. tapi tu hanya sekadar kat kertas. Malu dgn diri sendiri sebab tak praktikkan ilmu yg dah belajar dulu walaupun dah tau hakikat yg ilmu tanpa amal ibarat pokok tanpa buahnya. Sangat tahu. Tapi dulu aku ni mcm cermin. Org ajak buat baik, semua reflect balik. Tak masuk dalam hati. Mmg lah hati kita Allah yg pegang tapi without effort tak menjadi jugak. 

Bukan mudah untuk megajak org membuat kebaikan. Setiap kali kite move on the next step, semakin banyak ujian yg akan Allah bagi. (Kak Ain, SH Kuang,2013) Tapi tak boleh ke kite tgk betapa bnyk nikmat yg Allah dah bagi kat kita selama kita hidup ni? Kalau nak kira mmg tak kan mampu sebab sekecil-kecil nikmat Allah adalah udara yg kite hirup setiap saat ni. Dan sebesar-besar nikmat adalah nikmat Islam dan Iman. Mungkin kita akan rase berat sangat untuk sebarkan dakwah ataupun ajak org buat kebaikan. Tapi setiap kali kita rase penat, cuba muhasabah balik diri. Fikir segala nikmat yg Allah dah bagi. Tak boleh ke kite berkorban sikit je demi menegakkan agama Allah. Mmg kita akan rase sangat pahit. Tapi kepahitan tu semantara sahaja dan ia akan berakhir bila kite diberi nikmat yg lebih besar iaitu syurga Allah. 

Lepas tamat pengisian tu lunch then solat zohor. The next activity is luahan perasaan. Hihi. Slot ni pun aku suke sebab dieorg volunteer cerita perasaan/pendapat/pengalaman dieorg. Yelah Syahadatul Haq ni berat bg kiteorg yg baru nak mendalami Islam yg sebenar2nya Islam ni. Then, solat asar n LDK. Time LDK ni kiteorg ddk in group of 5. Bincang balik ape yg kiteorg dapat tadi. Nak sampaikan dakwah ni bkn mudah dan yg paling susah ialah family kita sendiri. Kadang2 kita lebih senang nak approach kwn2 berbanding adik-beradik or parents sendiri. Akak tu ckp, mungkin antara cara yg paling mudah dan efektif adalah dgn menunjukkan sifat yg baik dulu. Kite boleh jugak cerita ilmu yg kita dapat ni kat dieorg secara santai means that, jgn lah skema sangat. Dan paling penting usaha tu dan never give up. Kak Mira ckp takes time jugak utk ibu die join usrah akak ni. It took almost 4 years. Allah terasa berat sangat tanggungjawab kita. Takkan lah kite nak ignore family kita. Takkan kite nak masuk syurga sorang2. Kalau kite tak tolong mereka, kelak time hari pembalasan, mereka akan menuntut bela dari kita. Time tu kita mmg dah boleh nak ckp ape2 dah sbb waktu di dunia kite langsung takde effort nak ajak family/kawan2 mendalami Islam. Takutkan? Nauzubillah. Moga Allah beri kekuatan to each of us untuk menjadi khalifah di muka bumi ni buka sahaje menjadi abid.
